Still, mild, cloudy for most part - ideal ringing conditions - split stations

Baxter's - some good warblers

Joe had done rides by pool and one into reeds.

Birds caught:  Reed Warbler 3/3,  Chiffchaff 4/0 (all young), Wren 0/1,  Garden Warbler 1/0,  Sedge Warbler 0/3,  Reed Bunting 2/0,  Robin 0/1,  Bullfinch 1/0

Total birds = 19

Also seen - Kestrel, Cormorant, Cettis, Grey Heron, Swallow, Linnet

Eardington Sewage Works - many hirundines

Saturday 6th June 2020

A slow start at 6.30am with James, Joe, Stu.  Washing machine to fix - Stu departed at 10am, then hirundines arrived and a good catch.

Birds caught:  Pied Wagtail 9 (mostly juveniles), Swallow 13,  Sand Martin 7, House Martin 54, Swift 1



Total caught:  74

Also seen :  Hobby, Sparrowhawk, Goldfinch
