Sunday 2nd September 2018
Joe, Dave, Stu - a relatively leisurely post-CES start of 6am! Two usual hedge nets, one alongside carpark in field, one on path to side of hedge nets and one in phrag. Tape lures on.
15 Chiffchaff, 20 Blackcap, 8 Reed Warbler, 1 Robin, 4 Great Tit, 4 Whitethroat, 8 Blue Tit, 1 Wren, 1 Willow Warbler, 1 Blackbird, 1 Sedge Warbler, 2 Yellowhammer, 2 Greenfinch
It's been a long time since we caught a Greenfinch - we've heard a few this year, which has in itself been good news.
