Nightjar on Cannock Chase

Wednesday 2nd July 2014 :

James reports on a happy and productive night on Cannock Chase ...

Checked the nets and caught my first nightjar, checked the rest of the 60ft and had another nightjar, and the 40ft had another nightjar too, all males, with one re-trap. There was another one churring nearby. So I had beginners luck but the ringers group now want to know what I am doing to catch three in one night and halfan hour.
