Friday 4th May 2014:

Dave and Joe spent the day locating territories and ringing both young and adult birds. So far, 68 pulli have been rung. From looking at colour rings on male birds, it became clear that several males are on more than one territory feeding young from more than one nest - suggesting a lack of male birds this year.
